Heidi graduated from Queen's University, Belfast in 2008. She gained experience in different areas of dentistry including oral surgery, paediatrics and restorative dentistry. During this time, she obtained membership in the faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

Heidi undertook specialist training at the University of Sheffield/ Royal Derby Hospital and was awarded a Masters in Clinical Dentistry and Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. She subsequently gained entry onto the General Dental Council's Specialist list for Orthodontics.

On completion of his diploma in Dentistry in 1996, Ahmed worked as a general dental practitioner for about 6 years in both hospital and practice environment. Thereafter, Ahmed completed 2 years of training in paediatric dentistry at Leeds Dental institute and was awarded a Master in Dental Sciences in Paediatric Dentistry degree (2004). This was followed by completion of a PhD degree in dentistry (2009). 

Ahmed worked as a clinical tutor in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute between 2008 and 2010 and completed a Certificate in Education, which awarded him a membership status of the Academy of Higher Education. He then joined University of Bristol as academic and completed his training in Orthodontics and received a doctorate degree. 

He also became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and is on the Specialist Orthodontic Register. Ahmed enjoys all aspects of orthodontics and provides a high quality of care for adults and children.

Dr Zia Ud-Din graduated from the University of Manchester in 2001. He undertook several training posts including Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry, and obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Zia then undertook specialist training in orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital. He then obtained a Masters in Philosophy and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh before gaining entry into the GDC’s specialist list for orthodontics.

As a further recognition of his clinical expertise, Zia was awarded a highly prestigious British Orthodontic Society prize for excellence of his treated cases.

Zia is a registered provider of Incognito lingual braces and uses the latest orthodontic techniques such as Damon and Invisalign® treatment. This allows him to make the most informed decision when providing treatment for children or adults.

Zia believes orthodontic treatment should only ever be done once, and holds a strong philosophy of retention to ensure his patients keep their lovely straight smile forever.

Dr Hamza Parvez qualified as a dentist in 2009 and holds a licence to practice dentistry on three different continents. He has worked in hospitals and private facilities in Asia, Africa and the UK.

Hamza further specialised in the field of Orthodontics at the prestigious King’s College London and worked at both King’s College Hospital and Guy’s Hospital, where he received his Masters in Orthodontics.

Hamza is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he earned his MOrth degree. He has been trained under some of the leading names in orthodontics, and holds a Masters degree in Dental Public Health from King’s College London.

As a strong believer in life-long training, Hamza regularly attends conferences and courses around the world in order to keep up-to-date with the recent technological advances in orthodontics to benefit his patients.

He is trained in all forms of conventional orthodontics, complex orthodontics which require surgical and restorative procedures and the latest cutting edge techniques like aligners and invisible braces.

Apart from dentistry, Hamza has passion for soccer, travelling and playing cricket.

Dr Mary Cazaly graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2012. She undertook an intercalated degree in Oral Microbiology (2010) and has presented her work at conferences. Following graduation, she undertook several posts including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry. Mary obtained the Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She has since been selected as an examiner by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for this award. Mary won an audit prize at the British Craniofacial Conference in 2017 for a project she completed whilst working at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Mary undertook her specialist training at Newcastle Dental Hospital and entered the GDC’s specialist list for Orthodontics in 2019. Her Master’s degree in Dental Sciences at Newcastle University (2019) included a research project looking at adult patients’ preferences for the different types of orthodontic braces, which has been published.

Since completing her studies, she has undertaken a further hospital role at Newcastle, Carlisle and recently at Sunderland Hospital working with complex orthodontic cases including restorative, cleft lip and palate and jaw surgery. She regularly attends the British Orthodontic Conference to keep her knowledge up to date.

Mary enjoys being able to provide high quality and stable orthodontic treatment. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her previous training to her role at Neo Orthodontics.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring Northumberland with her family and Jack Russell terrier Jasper.

Dr Preet has been practicing as a dentist for 20 years, and graduated from Birmingham University in 2000 - winning the Walpole-Day Prize in Orthodontics.

He undertook several posts involving Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Treatment under Sedation. He also worked concurrently in General Dental Practice.

During this time, he obtained membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

In 2005, Preet commenced specialist training in orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During his training he also gained a Masters degree in orthodontics (MPhil).

In 2008, he obtained Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist, which recognises that he has followed the highest standard of training possible in orthodontics in the UK.

Experience

Preet has considerable experience as a Specialist Orthodontist, treating children and adults. He has established specialist practices and teams in Newcastle, Birmingham's Harborne Medical Quarter and London's Harley Street District.

Special Interests

Dr Preet has a keen interest in contemporary adult orthodontics and interdisciplinary treatment. He also takes special interest in the use of aesthetic braces like lingual braces and Invisalign^®clear aligners.

Asmed qualified in 1998 and has been Practice Principal since 2001. He also holds an adult postgraduate qualification in teaching from UCLAN and has been involved in postgraduate dental professional training since 2003.

He is an experienced sedation operator, having completed Advanced Intravenous Sedation training. He has also been trained in the delivery of anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers, as well as orthodontic systems including Clearstep, QuickStraight Teeth and Invisalign. He is currently undertaking advanced facial aesthetic training, including non-surgical rhinoplasty, tear troughs and cheek enhancements.

When not hard at work, Asmed enjoys cycling, travel and film. He also likes tinkering with cars and digging out his pans for cooking his favourite dishes. He is married to Nasreen and has two children.
